Tamilnadu will be hitting the election polls on April 18th. One of the most awaited battle will be held in the constituency of Thoothukudi. The face-off here will be between BJP’s state president Tamilisai Soundararajan and Kanimozhi from DMK.
With the current ruling party (AIADMK) likely to lose its ground in Thoothukudi post anti- sterilite protests that happened in 2018, it is an important constituency for both DMK and BJP to take a hold on.
