Traffic in India is synonymous with “honking.” The noise levels of honking are found to be higher than that of a construction site or a party. But enforcement of the law to curb this menace has been weak. Meanwhile, honking continues to be a major contributor of environmental noise, adding to the burden of health issues among people.
